Cherry varenya is what Russians use to sweeten their tea. What a brilliant idea! The Russian Tea Room of New York City serves cherry varenya, honey infused wild cherry preserve. I fell in love at the first sip, and then I was heartbroken when they told me it’s not for sale. The closest thing to it outside The Russian Tea Room is available at Williams-Sonoma!
